Duncan's fuel prices are on the rise to $1.309 for regular fuel, we are still holding at $1.229 for now and will see what the price goes to when we receive our next fuel delivery tomorrow. Try to get in soon as you can to top up as it does not seem fuel will come down again any time soon.
**Remember we serve auto propane as well as cylinders. The price for auto propane is still at .799 for now and we are only 5 minutes away if you need to fuel up.

Canucks Contest Expanded
We have decided that we will expand the Canucks Jersey contest to include a second and third prize. The contest has been running since before Christmas and you have all been great getting your entries in for the Jersey, very patient and so we wanted to have two more of our customers receive a prize. If you are not drawn for the jersey then you might receive a Vancouver Canucks car flag as our second prize ticket drawn or third ticket drawn will receive a Canucks china mug. We wish all our customers the best of luck in this draw and hope you are pleased with the additional two draws that have been set aside.
Beautiful sunny day today folks, hope you managed to get out and enjoy the day. Just to let you know, we are doing our best to run the auto propane and cylinder fills from 9 am to 6pm. If you need a fill we are a phone call away usually so remember bbq season is upon us, don't run out in the middle of cooking a meal. I believe Esso and Shell stations announced they are phasing out their auto propane so be aware we will do our best to supply you between 9am and 6pm., and keep your entries coming in until our draw on April 10th, 2011.
Breaking news, in Nanaimo, many of the gas stations have just risen to 129.9!!! Duncan seems to be holding at 118.9 to 119.9. We will maintain our price of 122.9 until our next fuel delivery, as, that just covers what we paid for the fuels and all the service charges. Thank you to our loyal customers for being so understanding and supporting the little stations who may not always be able to sustain losses at the pumps But, we will try to always be here to serve you, check your oil and tires and clean your windshields.
Thanks as always for your patronage, know that we sincerely appreciate your business!

What to Do About Fuel???
Hi folks, sorry it has been so long between blog posts but, I kept hoping we would get good news to post, perhaps fuel would start coming down, it would stop raining, Spring would spring us all into a great mood!?!
No such luck I am afraid. We do our best to give you a break at the pumps however, our suppliers do not seem to have the same spirit, each week we seem to pay more, really, I am starting to think that there has to be an easier way to earn money. Any suggestions?
Meanwhile, do not forget that any purchase of $25 or more at our service station gains you an entry to win a Canucks hockey jersey, draw to be held on April 10th so stop by and gas up to enter. While you are there, check out our merchandise. We are trying to carry products that you might need and not be able to find in Chemainus. Any suggestions? At the moment we have a gift selection, snacks, beverages, socks ($1.75 per pair), tobacco, cigarette machines, oil, windshield washer refills, jerry cans,if there is something you would like to see us carry stop by for a chat.
The primroses are blossoming in our little garage garden so can spring be far behind, hope not.
Remember properly inflated tires save you gas money, keep your powder dry until next time, happy trails to you!
